We spoke to older adults across Canada about their needs and privacy expectations in remote healthcare technology. Unexpectedly, many had a lot to say about AI and the exciting (but sometimes scary) potential implications on future solutions.

Through an expert evaluation of web-based security cues with a screen reader and a task-based study with 14 visually impaired users, I uncovered severe issues that force users to choose between accessibility and security, then offered recommendations to better communicate security information.
